The most important issues at stake in this year's elections are getting lost in a media frenzy fed by distractions. Our nation's challenges are too big to spend the next two months talking about small things. Together, we can move America beyond the gossip, the gotcha politics, and the horse-race journalism, and bring focus back to the issues that matter most to most Americans.

We've launched a 7-week campaign to demand a debate worthy of our great nation -- including provocative weekly print ads facing the editorial page of The New York Times and discussions in the blogosphere, on talk shows and on editorial pages.
