The most important issues at stake in this year's elections are getting lost in a media frenzy fed by distractions. Our nation's challenges are too big to spend the next two months talking about small things. Together, we can move America beyond the gossip, the gotcha politics, and the horse-race journalism, and bring focus back to the issues that matter most to most Americans.
We've launched a 7-week campaign to demand a debate worthy of our great nation -- including provocative weekly print ads facing the editorial page of The New York Times and discussions in the blogosphere, on talk shows and on editorial pages.
Here's what you can do to help fuel the debate...

We'll feature your blog posts and Twitter tweets that advance this project on our "The Debate We Need" homepage. Just tag your content as follows to feature it on our site automatically...

We don't all have to agree on our positions within a big issues debate -- in fact, that's why we are calling it a debate. What matters is that we get the country focused back on these big issues.
Download & Share Print Ads
Each week, we'll feature a new print ad on our "The Debate We Need" homepage to promote debate on an issue vital to the future wellbeing of our nation. Click the "Download/Share" link on any of these ads to save a copy that you can share with friends, family, fellow workers, and anyone else who you think would benefit from joining this debate.
