Privacy of our email lists
Institute for America's Future considers your contact information to be private and confidential. We will NOT disclose it to any other entity – except our sister organization, the Campaign for America’s Future — unless you specifically authorize us.
We will not disclose your name and contact information except to send it—along with your own correspondence—to the people targeted in our action campaigns (e.g. elected officials, decision-makers, journalists, etc.).
We will email you with occasional updates and opportunities for action. We will do our best to respect your time and attention. You can remove yourself from our e-mail list at any time, and simple instructions on how to remove yourself will be included in any e-mail you receive.
Resale or disclosure of information to third parties
We do not share or otherwise disclose any personal information, including your name, address or email addresses with other organizations except for our sister organization, Campaign for America’s Future (“CAF”). Only Institute or Campaign for America’s Future staff and our authorized agents have access to personally identifiable information provided by visitors to our site.
Browser information collected on our website
As with any website operator, Institute for America’s Future analyzes our website logs to constantly improve the value of our website. We use an external service to provide real-time reporting to us and our authorized agents of browser accesses to our site. This reporting includes page views, unique views, unique visitors, repeat visitors, frequency of visits, and peak-volume traffic periods. We do not use this service to gather, request, record, require, collect or track any Internet users' personally identifiable information.

2. Purpose of the Website. Institute for America’s Future is a nonpartisan organization, with a mission to develop policy ideas, educational materials and outreach programs to help shape a progressive agenda primarily addressing the kitchen-table concerns faced by working families.
The purpose of the website is to assist in the above mission by promoting the work of Institute for America’s Future, leading discussion about news and proposed policies, and providing an online community for progressives to share ideas. The purpose of the website is not to advance the interests of any particular party or candidate for office.
